Making it happen team
Making it happen is a team of people who are passionate for God, and share a common vision for the growth of Wellspring. We are currently working in a number of areas that have been highlighted as ways the church can improve. These areas were generated by the whole church as part of the Spring to Life, Lay Witness weekend. The team is under the leadership of management consultant, Graham Burgess and the spiritual guidance of Steward, Phil Stirk.

Task:To encourage more people to be involved in church life.

Outcome:

A winter programme up till Christmas has been arranged with the comedian Bobby Ball coming to Wellspring on 8th October to talk and share his testimony. This should be a fantastic evening with numbers growing rapidly. The plan was to sit approx 80 people for a meal prior to Bobby speaking with up to another 80 people arriving for the after dinner speech. The seating arrangements were discussed for a length of time and it was agreed to invite Graham Burgess down to the church to pull on his experience in organising an event such as this, Phil to contact Graham. Many thanks to Keith and Andrew for all their hard work in ‘Making this happen’!
